RE: Who is thankful.......re Ohio State

Michigan is a much bigger embarrassment to the big ten than Ohio state.
ROCK ME!
I guess the truth hurts
No pain here brother, Michigan was supposed to be bad this year. I knew this was going to be rough year. I saw one pre-season annual that had Michigan finishing 9th in the Big Ten....about where we finished.
However, OSU was supposed to be a great this year. I have 3 mags that had them rated #1 preseason, with all those players back. Yeah, I'd say they underachieved again.....
I look for them to get smoked again in their bowl game....
at least they are going to a bowl game.
I agree. At least they are going to a bowl game!! I am not happy that Ohio State choked the last TWO National Championship bid but THEY GOT THERE!!! Can't say that about many teams out there so don't be jealous all of you Buckeye haters!! Give credit where credit is due. They have a great program but there is still work to be done.
GO BUCKEYES!!!!!

RE: The Ohio State University Smacks Down Meechigan!

mtbuckeye, this annual game is more important to me than any "Super Bowl!" Bags.
You know, I really don't watch professional football. I watch teams to see what the college kids can do but I absolutely love Ohio State Football!! My family room is Ohio State and my personalized license plates are BUCKIZE!!

RE: The Ohio State University Smacks Down Meechigan!

You posted that headline like you were surprised about the outcome? Or maybe 12 years old.....LOL
Worst Michigan team ever, OSU did what they should have done. If I were you though, I'd be more concerned about Tressel's inability to win the "Big One". His team was ranked #1 again, and they lost to the ONLY good teams they played. With all that NFL talent, why can't they play in big games without embarrasing the conference......
Stay classy bagman.......LOL
I tend to agree with you on this one!! I am a little disappointed that Ohio State blows the big games. They can play but for some reason we get too conservative and don't come out firing. It is frustrating. I would like to see them up there again at a shot at the big one. I think Pryor is for real and very talented. He will be fun to watch for a lot of years to come.
No matter what today's game was still a great victory in MY mind. Anytime we can beat Michigan I am all over it!!!

RE: The Ohio State University Smacks Down Meechigan!

Amen!! I thought in the beginning they would at least make a game of it. I was glad to see Todd play a little but totally feel that the right choice was made in going with Pryor after the USC game. He is the future of Ohio State!! What a great run for the Buckeyes!!

I think the gas companies should use their record profits to bail out the automotive industry!! Wouldn't that be great?!!

RE: Who Is Your Favorite NFL Team?

Another vote for the Redskins. Have followed them since I was about 11 years old and have watched them go up and down since but they will always be my team. I had a best friend who is a huge Dallas fan so it was always great to play where I was Redskins and he was the Cowboys. Great times!! They seem to be holding their own this year. Need the Giants to lose a couple of games!!

RE: Prizes you win and can`t use ( long )

Can't believe someone would complain about winning something....
There are always those who don't have very much that you can donate an item to a good charity and they would be very grateful for the gift that can make a difference in someone's life. I would be just grateful to be lucky enough to win something!! We never win anything.

RE: Help me figured this one out

It is awfully hard to advise someone on something as personal as this is. It would depend on your circumstances in life. Do you need the money? If the plant closed down what would happen to your vacation time? If it were me, I would take the money while it is offered. The way he is paying it out in incruments sounds like he is on the ropes financially. Good Luck..
Actually I would prefer to get my vacation paid in increments so that my taxes on that amount made wouldn't be as high as one lump vacation payout. The more you make the more they take!!

RE: Tony Kornheiser.......announcer ESPN

He is an idiot. Monday night football hasn't been the same since Madden and Al have been gone in my opinion. I like John Madden's insight and looked forward to Monday night. He is a bit weird in some of his ways but to me was enjoyable. The announcers now have no personality and no experience in the NFL to speak of in my opinion with the exception of Jaworski.

RE: pop up bathrooms

We have the 2007 Fleetwood Arcadia with the high walls. It doesn't take more than a minute to put the bathroom together. If we are at a nicer campground that has bathrooms and showers we will use ours for the middle of the night for the kids. We have gone on trips where we haven't had anything and had to use the shower. There isn't a lot of room but you can get the necessary stuff done. Now that I have my blue tote it is nice that we can empty the gray water as needed. I wish we had a larger black tank but it is what it is. Nice to have the kids be able to shower and then hop right in bed without me or my wife having to go to the bathroom with them.
I say if you can afford it go with a bathroom.

RE: Winter Storage with a Bargeman plug

That plug holder is a good idea, have to get one of them.
I have been using electrical grease on the plug and connecter and then using a quart size freezer bad to cover the plug end and twist it closed and use a twist tie to keep it closed. Has work real good over the years.
I use the same method. I Ziploc and a rubber band. Then I put the plug in my battery box since my batteries are in my garage and put the lid on it and forget it until the spring. That has worked great. It is out of the weather and the only expense is a ziploc bag.

RE: Make A Prediction!

My hat is off to Penn State! They definitely deserved to win as they had 0 turnovers and 0 penalties. I hope they represent the Big Ten well in the National Championship Game. PSU will win out and OSU will finish 10 & 2. Good game PSU! Bagman.
That was a great game but did not end the way that I would have liked!! When you play error free football you SHOULD win the game!! It was a dang good game one that was great up to the end.

RE: Am I Wrong?

I agree with a lot that has been said and I personally would not have punished my son for sticking up for himself and would have told him I was proud of him. We need more people in our society to stick up for what is right because it is the right thing to do.
I grew up being bullied quite a bit because I was a bigger kid but not a tough kid. I was truly a softie and I really came to hate it because my mom always gave me the "don't you dare get in trouble" or "they will eventually stop bothering you if you ignore them." Honestly NEITHER of those ideas work.
Finally when I couldn't take it anymore I decided I was going to fight back with this one kid one day (Name was Richard. Will never forget that name). Same kid bullied a lot of kids in the neighborhood and I finally gave him a run. Two other mothers came to my house and told my mom what they saw and what happened. I initially tried to walk away but he persisted. Those two mothers were so happy because their kids got their A**es kicked by this kid so they were happy to see someone finally give it to him. One day in school he started something again and I WOULD not back down. Kicked his butt in school and we both got suspended for 1 day. Let me tell you it was worth it. He NEVER bothered me again and life was great. Got a lot of respect from the other kids and NEVER got into any fight again. Began playing football got a little tougher and ended up loving my high school years.
I have been teaching my kids that you walk away first but if someone lays a hand on them that they give that person everything they have and don't let up. As the saying goes "you have one shot to make a good first impression." Your first punch needs to land good and hard so he thinks twice about coming at you again.
The neat thing about boys and fights....sometimes when the fighting is over the boys are friends. Don't understand it but it works that way. We ended up not being great friends but actually able to do things in the neighborhood like playing basketball or football with tons of kids in the neighborhood. Now girls are a totally different story!!!!!!!! Their fights are way deep...............

RE: Make A Prediction!

Tonight poor little West Virginia from the Big East came back and beat mighty Auburn from the most powerful football conference, the SEC! How could that happen? Bagman.
AMEN!! SEC is so powerful??!!
Okay I must admit I am no fan of the SEC but.....
My prediction...Ohio State over Penn State by 5. It WILL be a great game!!

The "Buckeyes" are #10 in all the major polls and #9 in the BCS poll. Bagman.
This is great news and I hope they beat Penn State next week. That is my only game I am worried about in the Big Ten this season!!

RE: Leaf-Spring Question?

I in fact just had my trailer's axle flipped just today. I actually posted here earlier in the month about uneven tire wear and found out my axle was bent so bought a new axle and when they went to put it on I asked my repair guy if he could please flip the axle and he said he would and did it. I am very very happy with the results and will test it out fully tomorrow when we go camping for the weekend to southern Utah. I had wanted it flipped from the beginning as it adds about 4" clearance and now there is enough room for me to put my blue tote under it without any problems and at the campgrounds that had sewer connections this will make my flow much better and easier I believe.

RE: An observation of people coming and going......

I still ALWAYS hold the door open for people. I admit I have gotten lazy opening the car door for my wife as we have remote door locks but I guess I should still do that for her. I am under 40 so there are still some out there.
